My early morning exercise routine heavily relies on what I do the night before to prepare myself for success. Here are the things I do at night to make myself a morning workout person.

CLEAN MY KITCHEN

Probably not what you were expecting as my number 1 tip to be a morning workout person. Hear me out, if I clean out my sink the night before, it’s one less obstacle standing in my way to get out the door faster. Put away dry dishes, and fill the dishwasher, clear any clutter off the countertops. Turning on the kitchen light in the morning to a fresh kitchen will start your day off on the right track!

MAKE BREAKFAST

I make up a simple breakfast the night before that I can easily eat in under 5 minutes. To see what I eat for breakfast, check out my pre and Post Workout Routine here.

PREP PRE-WORKOUT

I load my shaker bottle with Prep my pre-workout powder so all I have to do it add water.  If you don't need a morning boost - drink 8 oz of water first thing before starting you workout. I you are a coffee drinker, have your coffee pre-set and ready to go, I still suggest getting in 8oz of water before your coffee.

FILL WATER BOTTLE

It’s such a small task, but I swear every minute counts.

LAYOUT CLOTHES

And I mean I lay out everything. Outfit, underwear, socks, shoes, hair tie. Leave nothing in your way. A little trick that can also help motivate you, lay out a cute workout top or pants that you love the way your booty looks in them. Don’t underestimate the power of feeling good and the effect it has on your workout.

SET ALARM

Doing the above steps cuts out an access time allowing me to sleep for an additional 15 minutes or so. I set my alarm to the latest possible time that still allows me to get out the door. I used to be a "snoozer" so now I take away that option & remove the temptation to skip the morning sweat.

Doing all these things the night before set me up for success! A huge time saver can be to do at-home workouts, eliminating the commute can save you an additional 10-30 minutes of drive time. Check out my 8-week at-home program here! It's filled with 30-minute workouts that you can do from anywhere!

Comment to let me know what tips you do to set yourself up for success in the morning! I'd love to hear them!
